Football Shirt Hunting in Charity Shops & Car boot sales: Week 4

Week four of our football shirt hunt in charity shops and car boot sales brings you four new shirts, some I was able to sell including a Barcelona third shirt 2016 and others were just traded, we shall start off at the charity shop finds.

First up was a trip to the car boot sale my next pickup was a Celtic shirt from 2005/06 in an XXL, this cost me €5 and I managed to swap this with another shirt collector for a Liverpool away shirt from the 2020 season, as a Liverpool fan I was thrilled with this swap.

Arsenal 2010 away shirt

Next up was my trip to the Charity Shops where I picked up an Arsenal away shirt from 2010, it has long sleeves and the size was extra small, you have to give it to Arsenal they really have had some bangers of shirt releases, I paid up the €7 asking price and managed to sell it for a total of €12, leaving me with a profit of €5.

If the size was larger I suspect the profit from this would have been much higher.

Barcelona third shirt 2016

I also managed to pick up a Barcelona third shirt from the 2016/17 season in a size medium, it cost me €7 and I later sold it for €10, even though it returned a profit of €3 I did think that it may have sold for more, if this was in my size I would have loved to add it to my collection.

That finished my fourth week of football shirt hunting, I went into the week with a profit of €122 and I finished the week with a total profit of now €130 and I was able to add another Liverpool shirt to my personal collection.

Do note that any profit made in this series will be re-invested into other Football shirts for my personal collection and I do not expect to finish with any profit by the time I am done
